P-A-R-I-S

Five letters that resonate throughout the world. Historically incomparable, culturally unique, the City of Light also shines in the world of sport thanks to the red and blue colors.

The handball club was founded in 1941 and went through many names (Asnières Sports, Paris- Racing-Asnières, Paris-Asnières, PSG-Asnières, Paris Handball) before becoming Paris Saint-Germain Handball in 2012. With this takeover, the club has great short and long-term ambitions for its first team and its training centre. The proof is in the pudding, as in the first year under this name, the club won the French championship for the first time in its history

This is a real achievement for the Red and Blue, who over the years have established themselves as the emblematic handball team in France and abroad thanks to their impressive track record.

As for its training centre, it provides each year many players both to the professional team (Benoît Kounkoud, Dylan Nahi, Adam Keita,...), and to other clubs in France.

OUR VISION

Sporting success, academic success and personal development are the values at the heart of the Academy, as they symbolise the commitment of Paris Saint Germain to the development of young people in a triple project.

At the Academy, we share a vision of improving experiences for children in a project aimed at PSG fans: to enter the life of a professional player.

During the camps, our players aged 10 to 17 discover the Red and Blue environment, learn to respect their teammates, opponents and the referee. They are also keen to pass on the culture and identity of Paris Saint Germain.

The Academy is committed to passing on the club's philosophy and values, based on fun, education and personal balance. Each child who joins the Paris Saint-Germain Handball Academy will have the unique opportunity to play handball and to progress athletically under the conditions of a professional player (training sessions led by PSG Handball coaches, rest periods, group life and the famous video sessions), to make new friends and to be immersed in the club's identity.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL ASSOCIATION

In August 1996, the Paris Saint Germain Handball Association was created under the name Paris Handball Club to be the supporting entity of the Parisian professional club. Since the 2012/2013 season, professional Parisian handball has been evolving under the name Paris Saint-Germain Handball, a name and logo that the Association was able to take over in July 2018.

For 25 years, the Association has been working to develop the practice of handball in all its forms in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, while promoting the city of Paris. It ensures the pre-training of young people up to the Training Centre but also the practice of women.

In 10 years, the Association has seen its number of members evolve without measure under the impact of the strategy of its leaders, the results of the first team and the various titles of the French Teams. image

Throughout this period, the Paris Saint-Germain Handball Association has gained the trust of its various partners through its commitment to reduce inequalities in access to handball in the Paris region, in particular through numerous actions aimed at:

  • Young people
  • Women
  • Priority neighbourhoods
  • People in financial difficulty
  • Disabled people
  • Training
  • Apprenticeships

The Association wants to put at the heart of its actions a project which is oriented on three major axes: embodying - training - performing with the main objective of accompanying the young members from a point A to a point B, all this by valuing performance and progression on the sporting, academic and human level.

EMBODYING

To represent the city of Paris and its values of modernity, openness and prestige

To be a vector for solidarity, diversity and the reduction of inequalities

To convey the principles of community life and respect for the environment

TRAINING

To improve the technical and human skills of the club's educators

To perpetuate the identity of Paris Saint-Germain and the heritage of the years spent at the club

To support the triple project of sports, human and professional

PERFORMING

To maintain the culture of victory

To encourage high standards for oneself

To Become an actor and protector of your environment (family, club, city, region, state...)
